Agency CENTER will reboot the public spaces of Kirovo-Chepetsk

28 January, 2019

In Kirovo-Chepetsk, Kirov Region (Volga Federal District), a project to develop a system of public spaces in the town center has been launched. It will be based on a comprehensive analysis of the current state of the urban environment and residents’ needs for leisure activities. The project involves the preparation of an architectural and artistic concept, and a conception for the development of municipal cultural and leisure institutions.
The centerpiece of the network of public spaces will be the square on Pervomayskaya street. As part of the project, detailed proposals for its improvement will be prepared, which will take into account the wishes of the town’s residents. Anyone who wishes may contribute a proposal by filling out a questionnaire on the Kirovo-Chepetsk administration website.

Experts will present their vision for the renovated square at a project seminar to be held on January 31, from 16:00 to 18:00 in the exhibition hall of the Brylina Children’s Art School, located at 20 Revolutsii street.

The aim of the project seminar is to create a conception for the public space that meets the demands of Kirovo-Chepetsk residents and guests to the town. The event involves the joint work of residents and the project group, which will be held in a workshop format: participants will unite in groups in order to reach a common position on the proposed solutions and provide their observations.

Entrance to the event is free.
