The meeting ended with each group presenting its vision for the project to those present. Several proposals from residents were unusual and ambitions, like, for example, a dinosaur park, or a floating bridge, similar to the bridge in Moscow’s Zaryadye Park. The workshop also saw a large number of practical proposals: for the improvement of the square’s drainage system, the installation of video surveillance and lighting systems, and the creation of separate pedestrian and cycle paths. Residents’ proposals also included the location of coffee points, and of places to charge electrical gadgets and for wireless internet access. One popular proposal was for the installation of unique art objects or a fountain. The square’s basic function is recreational, and residents noted the importance of protecting the existing greenery, which makes the public space more comfortable.
