The JINR Public Council approved the concept for the improvement of the embankment in Dubna
Preliminary design solutions for the concept for the improvement of the Great Volga Embankment in Dubna were presented on February 5 at a meeting of the Public Council of the Joint Institute for Nuclear Research (JINR).
Participants in the meeting at the JINR International Meetings House discussed the location of a skating rink, volleyball court and stage, as well as possibilities for expanding the beach area. Some of those present expressed the desire that the embankment retain its historical appearance, and that the identity of the city be reflected in the design of the playgrounds.
