On November 5th, an exhibition of the contestants’ works will open and a business program organized by the Agency for Strategic Development CENTER will begin at the Central House of Architects (7 Granatny Lane).
On the first day, November 5th, the opening ceremony of the 10th Landscape Architecture Award and the discussion “National projects. Comfortable urban environment” will be held.
The following activities are planned for November 6th: public talk “Landscape Architecture vs. Landscape Design,” whose speakers will be Michel Péna, the award’s international curator, French landscape architect and conceptor, and head of the landscape architecture bureau Pena Paysages, and Taisia Wolftrub, President of the Association of Landscape Architects; author lecture “Formation of a Comfortable Urban Environment. St. Petersburg,” which will be read by Larisa Kanunnikova, Deputy Chairman of the Committee for the Improvement of St. Petersburg.
On November 7th at 6:00 pm, the session “Standards and Legal Norms in the Landscaping Industry” will be held, in which they will discuss how to factor in all the norms, rules, and standards and create a unique object.
On November 8th at 6:00 pm, as part of the round table “Garden in the Big City. Cultural Code and Landscape Architecture,” experts will talk about the role of parks in cities, their meaning and value, as well as the adaptation of historical gardens for modern use.
The award was established by the Association of Landscape Architects of Russia together with the Union of Architects of Russia and the Union of Moscow Architects.
