Landscape award: a case session on the creation of a master plan for the Stepnoy Zay river valley in Almetyevsk will take place on December 16

The case session "Landscape in the city: a case for creating a master plan for the Stepnoy Zay river valley in Almetyevsk" will be held on December 16 at 15:00 in an online format as part of the business program of the XI Russian National Award for Landscape Architecture.

Speakers will analyze in detail the case of Almetyevsk as one of the most comfortable cities in Russia and focus directly on the results of the Open International Architectural and Urban Planning Competition for the development of a master plan for the territory adjacent to the Almetyevsk reservoir on the river. Stepnoy Zay in the city of Almetyevsk of the Republic of Tatarstan, which ended in September this year.

  • Guy Eames, co-founder and chairman of the board of the Russian Green Building Council (RuGBC), international curator of the competition;

  • Amir Idiatulin, CEO of IND Architects, finalist of the competition;
  • Eric Valeev, head of the IQ Studio, finalist of the competition.
