The research by Agency CENTER, dedicated to the redevelopment of Moscow industrial zones, was highly appreciated by professionals. At the architectural festival "Golden Section-2021" the study "Moscow Re:industrial" received a Diploma in the nomination "Printed Labor", being one of 4 diploma winners out of 20 submitted applications.

The study of the industrial territories of the capital was prepared by the Agency's experts in 2018-2019. By this time, the capital had accumulated almost 10 years of experience in integrating industrial zones not used for their intended purpose into the fabric of the city, and the Agency CENTER had accumulated a wealth of material to analyze the effectiveness of the methods used in this work.

This is a very important award for the entire team of authors. We have been working on "Moscow Re:industrial" for many years, we reprinted it several times. It was a joint work with Narine Tyutcheva, Stanislav Guzhov, Olga Gritsan, Marina Khrustaleva and a whole galaxy of excellent researchers. Today their work has been justly rewarded.

An interdisciplinary study initiated by the Agency for Strategic Development "CENTER" combines 4 analytical approaches: urban planning, architectural, historical and cultural, economic - and offers different scenarios for redeveloping industrial zones in Moscow, based on an analysis of modern approaches and evolutionary trends in the development of industrial areas. For the first time, industrial areas are considered in the historical and cultural aspect and are ranked according to the presence of industrial heritage monuments. The most typical examples of the redevelopment of historical production zones in Moscow since 2000 are considered in terms of the functional saturation and effectiveness of the selected methods.
