We are paying great attention to the integrated development of territories and the formation of a comfortable urban environment. As a large-scale project, Gorskaya requires careful and comprehensive consideration. The practice of international competitions, as never before, allows us to see the full potential of the territory from different aspects. The number and capacity of participants prove the full potential of the territory. As a Federal body responsible for improving citizens’ standard of living and the development of the construction industry, we hope that the finalists present projects worthy of implementation, which emphasize the status of St. Petersburg, its special position on the map of Russia as a city with a rich history and as a port with access to the sea, and which also give a special impetus to the development of not only the city itself, but also the preconditions for the creation of a new design system and standards for the integrated development of territory
