On February 8, an online press conference will be held at 10:00 Moscow time (16:00 Yakutsk time) dedicated to the launch of the Open Nationwide Competition for creation of a master plan for the city of Yakutsk in the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia).

The initiator of the Competition is the Government of the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia). Partners are AO DOM.RF, District Administration of Yakutsk, Special Purpose Fund of Future Generations of the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia) NPO. The operator of the Competition is Agency for Strategic Development CENTER.

The following have been invited to take part in the press conference:

• Artur Veretennikov, Deputy Director of the Department for the Development of the Far East and the Arctic, Ministry of the Russian Federation for Development of the Far East and the Arctic
• Aysen Nikolaev, Head of the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia)
• Anton Finogenov, Deputy General Director, DOM.RF Foundation
• Evgeny Grigoriev, Head of Yakutsk Urban District
• Irina Alekseeva, Chief Architect of Yakutia, Head of the Department of Architecture and Urban Planning under the Head of the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia)
• Semyon Sergeev, Chief Architect of Yakutsk
• Vladimir Egorov, General Director of Special Purpose Fund of Future Generations of the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia) NPO

• The purpose of the Competition is to develop a master plan for the city of Yakutsk of the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia)
• Professional organizations in the field of integrated development of territories and urban planning, architecture, design, and elaboration of concepts for the development of public spaces, operating in Russia, and capable of attracting specialists in the field of economics, finances, and content programming to the team may participate in the Competition.
