24 companies will compete for the right to design development concepts for the Victory Park territory in Murmansk
Acceptance of applications to participate in the Open Nationwide Competition for designing a development concept for the Victory Park territory in Murmansk has now ended.
The Competition has been commissioned by ANO “Murmansk Region Urban Development Center”. The competition is being held with support from the Government of Murmansk Region and the Ministry of Urban Planning and Improvement of Murmansk Region. The operator of the Competition is Agency for Strategic Development CENTER.
19 participants filled out applications fulfilling all the competition rules: 13 individual applicants and 6 consortia, with a total of 24 companies.
The Organizing Committee received: 22 from Moscow, 16 from St. Petersburg, 2 each from Kazan, Murmansk, Rostov-on-Don, Yaroslavl, 1 each from Azov, Yekaterinburg, Nizhny Novgorod, Petrozavodsk, Simferopol, Yakutsk.
Among the participants are companies from 8 cities of Russia: 9 companies from Moscow, 6 from St. Petersburg, 1 each from Rostov-on-Don, Kazan, Yaroslavl, Petrozavodsk, Simferopol and Yakutsk. In addition to companies from Russia, the consortia included companies from 3 other countries: 1 each from Germany (Berlin), Denmark (Copenhagen), and the Netherlands (Rotterdam).
On February 18, the jury, which included representatives of the state authorities of Murmansk Region and the city of Murmansk, federal and regional experts in the fields of architecture, public spaces, urban planning, and landscape architecture, will determine 5 finalists who will develop competitive proposals.
