From 13 to 20 April 2023 the traditional Golden Section Festival took place in the Central House of Architects, Moscow.
The festival is held once every two years and traditionally gathers the best works of Moscow’s experts in architecture, design, design and journalism.
The Golden Section competition was established by the Moscow Union of Architects more than 20 years ago. Over the years of its existence, the Golden Section has become a prestigious award, always collecting the best works of Moscow architects. After evaluating the experience gained, in 2013 the organizers expanded the Golden Section contest to the format of the festival of the same name.
The highest award is a bronze bas-relief with a stylized image of the symbol of the award, traditionally presented in the sections Project and Implementation.
This year, its participants presented more than 120 works, reflecting modern architectural trends and innovative ideas.
In a separate nomination, “Print work”, the Jury selected printed publications or media publications on topics related to architecture and city development.
On 20 April, the Jury selected the authors of the best works in the sections “Project” and “Implementation”, as well as in the special nomination “Print work”.
Analytical studies "Comprehensive analytical study of the effectiveness of public spaces created under the program "Moy Rayon" and “Integrated assessment of the potential for development of the city district of Yakutsk”, created by the experts of the Agency "CENTER", were awarded the Diploma of the Golden Section Architecture Festival in the category of “Print work”.
