Today Olga Gritsan, Head of the Analytical Department of the Agency for Strategic Development CENTER, celebrates her Birthday.

Olga is a multifaceted personality, with the broadest outlook, a professional of an unattainable level, a real expert in her sphere, a talented leader and teacher who never rests on her laurels.

She began her journey at the Faculty of Geography of Lomonosov Moscow State University with a degree in Physical Geography, Landscape Science. Upon graduation from the University, she held various positions in leading organizations in Moscow. Olga was a Head of the Department for the Development of Territories with Special Use Modes in the State Unitary Enterprise "Main Department for the Customer of Urban Planning Works of the Moscow Architecture Committee", the Head of the Department for the Development of Natural and Green Areas in the Committee for Architecture and Urban Planning of Moscow, the Head of the Department for the Development of Park Areas in the State Institution "United Directorate" Mosgorpark ".

As an authoritative expert in the field of territorial development, urban planning, regulatory documentation and government programs in the field of urban planning practice, as well as a widely recognized specialist in the development of public spaces, in 2017 Olga accepted an invitation to head the think tank of our Agency and became the Head of the Analytical Department of CENTER . This year the Agency will turn 8 years old, 5 of which Olga, together with Sergey Georgievsky and Ketevan Khelaya, led the largest research and expertise of the company.

Olga has an outstanding experience in the field of planning public spaces, preparing urban planning documentation for areas with special usage regimes (including park areas), regulating urban planning activities, preparing legal documents and state programs in the field of urban planning practice in Moscow. She took direct part in the preparation of more than 100 legal acts of the Moscow Government.

Always acts as a teacher and mentor in relation to new generations of experts both in the CENTER and beyond. Regularly participates in expert discussions, forums and conferences of the professional community.
