The work on the Research "Comprehensive assessment of the development potential of the urban district "Argun City" has been completed
The CENTER has completed work on a large study "Comprehensive assessment of the development potential of the Argun City Urban District".
The initiator of the project was the Mayor's Office of Argun, with the support of the Government of the Chechen Republic and the House of the Russian Federation. The study was prepared by experts from the CENTER Strategic Development Agency.
Argun is a city of republican subordination, an industrial, socio—cultural and transport hub, and is a satellite of the city of Grozny, the capital of the Chechen Republic.
The study conducted a comprehensive assessment of the development potential of Argun in the following areas:
– assessment of the prerequisites for development;
– analysis of strategic priorities of socio-economic development;
– analysis of indicators of socio-economic development;
– spatial analysis;
– analysis of infrastructure security.
In it, experts assessed the current state of the city, trends and potential of socio-economic and spatial development, developed promising scenarios, and identified tasks that are being implemented by the consortium under the leadership of the CENTER Agency during the subsequent development of the Argun master plan.
