Work on the Comprehensive assessment of development potential of Argun urban district has been completed
CENTER has completed work on a large Comprehensive assessment of development potential of Argun urban district.
The initiator of the project was the Administration of the city of Argun, with the support of the Government of the Chechen Republic and DOM.RF. The study was prepared by experts of the Agency for Strategic Development CENTER.
Argun is a city of republican subordination, an industrial, socio-cultural and transport hub, and a satellite of the city of Grozny, the capital of the Chechen Republic.
A comprehensive assessment of the development potential of the city of Argun was conducted in the following areas:
– evaluation of development prerequisites;
– analysis of strategic priorities of socio-economic development;
– analysis of socio-economic development indicators;
– spatial analysis;
– analysis of sufficiency of infrastructure.
In it, experts assessed the current state of the city, trends and potential for socio-economic and spatial development, generated promising scenarios, and also defined tasks that are being implemented by the consortium under the leadership of the Agency CENTER in the subsequent development of the Argun master plan.
