The acceleration program of regional interdisciplinary teams of pilot territories for the development of ecological tourism in the part of the tourist and recreational complex was launched

The first stage of the competition for the development of ecotourism has ended. 36 finalists started working on their concepts through training at Accelerator, an innovative practice-oriented program designed specifically for the competition finalists. It includes a cycle of training events and consultations with experts aimed at improving the professional competencies of team members and finalizing their projects - comprehensive master plans for tourism and recreation clusters for the successful implementation of the project in the future.

The accelerator consists of 3 training modules, as well as a large open lecture program. The first and second modules are available for the teams that reached the final - in the TOP-36. During their studies, the finalists will learn how to launch processes that will provide conditions for attracting investments and developing the local economy, preserving and capitalizing the local culture of cultural heritage, and also improving the quality of the tourism product. The third module is available only for ten winning teams. Together with the mentors, the winners will develop a roadmap for the project, finalize the financial and economic model and prepare an investment memorandum for the TRC.

The Open Program lectures are designed specifically for the Accelerator and address the most pressing issues in the industry. A set of webinars is available to all listeners interested in the development of ecotourism in specially protected natural areas of Russia.

The mentors of the Accelerator are Alena Bereberdina, co-founder of the Khorovod consulting bureau, Sergei Nebotov, partner of the Novoye architectural bureau, Varvara Semina, moderator of educational programs at Moscow School of Management SKOLKOVO, Alexander Poroshkin, founder of MAParchitects, Head of the SAGA / MOSCOW design studio, Artem Stabrovsky, partner project + Process "Jerzy Stankevich, head of the studio" Architectural Bureau 2.0 "Alisa Shmeleva.

Among the lecturers of the program are Co-founder and Chairman of the Board of the Russian Council for Green Building (RuGBC) Guy Eames, head of the department for the development of ecotourism in the protected areas of the Federal Reserve Center of the Ministry of Natural Resources of Russia Konstantin Korneevets, founder of the Alturizm company and expert of the School of Environmental Entrepreneurship of the Fund "Revival of the Siberian Land" Ekaterina Zatuliveter, Anna Pankratova, leading expert on infrastructure development of the Belaya Mountain tourism cluster, Vladislav Nemova, a specialist on natural resources at the World Bank, and many others.

The Acceleration Program will end on November 15. It will result in the creation of master plans for tourism and recreation clusters. Each of them will be developed for a specific protected area and the territory adjacent to it. As a result, each team will receive a “packaged product”, completely ready for implementation and presentation to investors.
