Nationwide festival “Urban Space: Vision of Future City Planners”
From October 11 to October 20, 2022, the “Urban Space: Vision of Future City Planners” nationwide festival is being held at the House on Brestskaya in partnership with the Agency for Strategic Development CENTER.
The event is being organized by the Information and Analysis Center of Moscow Complex of Urban Planning Policy and Construction, and Mosstroyinform State Budgetary Institution, with the support of Moscow City Department of Urban Planning Policy.
The idea of the Festival is to draw attention to creation of a comfortable public urban environment. It will demonstrate how young architects and designers and students of professional educational institutions see design and construction of urban planning projects in the context of constantly growing urbanization.
The event is accompanied by a business events program attended by architects, designers, and university lecturers.
As part of the festival, a competition is being held for graduate term and qualification papers among students involved in architectural, design and landscape planning, and who are studying under educational programs of secondary vocational education in Moscow and other Russian cities. The results will be evaluated by a highly professional jury headed by architect-designer Boris Uborevich-Borovsky.
