The second presentation of the interim results of the finalists of the Open International Competition for the development of a master plan for the city of Grozny took place in Moscow.
On August 15, the event was attended by Mayor of Grozny Khas-Magomed Shakhmomedovich Kadyrov, Mayor of Argun Iles Akhmedovich Masaev, Deputy General Director of the DOM.RF Denis Sergeevich Filippov, co-founder of the Agency for Strategic Development “CENTER” Sergey Andreevich Georgievsky, as well as Russian and international experts in the field of urban planning and urban studies.
The event was held in the conference hall of the central office of DOM.RF.
Recall that on May 31, the finalists of the Competition were determined in Grozny based on the results of the Jury meeting.
They were:
- consortium under the leadership of "Artemy Lebedev Studio" (Moscow, Russia);
- consortium "City of Generations" (Moscow, Russia);
- consortium under the leadership of "MASTER'S PLAN" (Moscow, Russia).
As part of the presentation, the finalists proposed design solutions aimed at the comprehensive development and improvement of the capital of Chechen Republic. Among the proposed ideas were educational campuses, business districts, parks and other public spaces that will become new points of attraction for citizens and tourists.
The experts discussed the submitted materials in detail, asked their questions, and also gave recommendations on finalizing the projects.
