On November 29, Moscow summed up the results of the All-Russian architectural competition with International Participation for Tourist Area Development "New Anapa".
In the Coordination Center of the Government of the Russian Federation in Moscow, the final meeting of the jury of the Open All-Russian competition with international participation for the development of architectural, planning and urban planning solutions for the future tourist territory "All-Russian beach family resort "New Anapa" (Krasnodar Territory, Anapa resort city) took place.
The proposals of three finalists of the competition were considered: consortia under the leadership of the architectural bureau "Studio 44", the Institute "Mosinzhproekt", the company "Creative Technologies" and a special participant of the competition – the student association "Studio 5"
As a result, the jury, chaired by Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian Federation Dmitry Chernyshenko, selected the project of the consortium under the leadership "Creative Technologies" as the winner of the contest. As part of the consortium: Creative Technologies (Moscow, Russia), Cronwell Hospitality Group (Saint Petersburg, Russia), Moscow Region Research and Design Institute of Urban Planning (Reutov, Russia), InfraVEB (Moscow, Russia).
Among the key evaluation criteria were the relevance and compliance of the submitted projects with the competitive tasks, as well as the depth and degree of their elaboration.
The winner's proposals will become the basis for creating the appearance of the future resort city "New Anapa". The original architectural solutions of the other finalists of the competition will also be taken into account when developing a master plan for the future resort.
"The competition has become a unique platform for joint work of experts, representatives of authorities and potential investors. In total, more than 60 applications were submitted from 11 countries. The winner's proposals will become the basis for the formation of the appearance of the "New Anapa".
The resort "New Anapa" should become a catalyst for positive changes in the industry and be focused on family spa holidays. This is the most important project entrusted to us by Russian President Vladimir Vladimirovich Putin. The main goal is to provide our citizens with ample opportunities for high–quality, affordable and safe recreation. During the implementation of the project, up to 25 thousand new jobs will be created, and the annual tourist flow to the Anapa district of the Krasnodar Territory is projected to grow to 3 million people", said Dmitry Chernyshenko, Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian Federation, Chairman of the Jury of the Competition.
"The master plan will be developed and submitted for consideration to the members of the government sub-commission in the first half of 2024. As a result of the development of the master plan, investment lots will be formed for both large investors and representatives of small and medium-sized businesses. Among the lots will be hotels, catering outlets, entertainment, business, educational and service infrastructure", said Sergey Sukhanov, General Director of "Corporation Tourism.RF", member of the Competition Jury.
A total of 50 applications (from 19 individual applicants and 31 consortia) were submitted for the competition in the "Professional Participant" category. To participation in competition were allowed 149 companies from 34 cities and 11 countries, including Russia, Germany, Denmark, Egypt, Iraq, Spain, Mexico, Portugal, Turkey, Saudi Arabia and the United States. 11 applications from 69 contestants from 18 cities and 11 higher educational institutions of Russia were submitted in the category "Special Participant".
