Former industrial zones in different parts of the city are turning into modern neighborhoods with cafes, shops, office buildings and residential buildings. Territories that are inefficiently used are also being rebuilt.

Almost 200 projects of integrated territorial development are currently being implemented in Moscow. The year 2023 was a breakthrough year for the implementation of this program. 

Sergey Georgievsky, co-founder of the Agency for Strategic Development “CENTER” , noted in a comment to the correspondents of the Moscow 24 TV channel that redevelopment is an inevitable trend of urban development due to the ongoing restructuring of the economy and the termination of the activities of old-type industrial enterprises. It is intended to return the investment potential to the inefficiently used lands of the city, which are located in modern areas of Moscow with high investment attractiveness.
