“The first National Far Eastern Architecture Award is designed to bring together best practices in architecture, urban planning, and urban environment development. We are interested in having as many strong projects as possible submitted to the competition, which is why we are holding an open webinar where we will explain in detail the participation procedure, evaluation criteria, and specific aspects of preparing a competition application. We invite urbanists, architects, design organizations, developers, public authorities, and development institutions to use this opportunity to learn more about the award, participation conditions, and the technical aspects of submitting applications,” said Gasan Gasanbalaev, Deputy General Director for Social Development at the Corporation for the Development of the Far East and the Arctic.

Applications for the award opened on July 21 and will be accepted until September 11. The results will be announced on December 1–2 in Yakutsk, where the winners in nine nominations — including “Best City Master Plan,” “Best Environmental Design Project,” and others — will be named. The Grand Prix will also be awarded to the federal subject whose territory has the largest number of projects recognized as part of the award.

DalArch is intended not only to highlight the achievements of the Far East in territorial development and architecture, but also to expand the catalogue of the best architectural and construction projects designed for broad use across the country.

The award was established in 2025 at the Eastern Economic Forum, where the corresponding agreement was signed between the Corporation for the Development of the Far East and the Arctic and the Government of the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia). DalArch is held with the support of the Ministry for the Development of the Russian Far East and Arctic, the Ministry of Construction of Russia, and DOM.RF. The Agency for Strategic Development CENTER acts as the operator.

Full information about the award is available on its official website: dalarch.ru.
