Professional events and an exhibition of competition entries will complement the programme of the 17th Russian National Award for Landscape Architecture and Garden Art festival. The festival will take place from November 16 to 20, 2026, at the Central House of Architects in Moscow. The Agency for strategic development "CENTER" is a co-organiser of the award, and its experts will contribute to the professional programme and serve on the jury.

The festival opens on November 16. Professional events and jury sessions are scheduled for November 17 to 19. The closing ceremony, awards presentation and gala dinner for award recipients, partners and guests of honour will take place on November 20.

The professional programme includes round tables, discussion sessions and partner events. It is intended for professionals who design and develop urban and natural environments, including landscape architects, designers, urban planners, urban greening specialists, representatives of development and property management companies, and students in relevant university programmes.

The festival’s formats allow participants to explore spatial development at different scales. In the competition programme, authors will present specific sites and projects, while professional events will provide opportunities to discuss approaches, current trends and challenges facing the sector. For those working with public spaces, this combination helps connect individual design decisions with broader urban development objectives.

The exhibition programme includes a display of competition entries and stands hosted by partners of the award and ALAROS. Visitors will be able to explore participants’ projects alongside products and solutions for landscape architecture and site improvements.

The exhibition complements the public project presentations. Visual materials explain how spaces are organised, while the authors’ presentations clarify the reasoning behind design decisions. For architects and clients, these offer two ways to examine the same project and assess its relevance to their own professional objectives.

Professional events, the competition programme and the exhibition will bring together project authors, manufacturers and specialists with an interest in the quality of outdoor spaces. Experts from the Agency for strategic development "CENTER" will contribute to the professional assessment of projects and discussions on approaches to spatial development. Key participants listed on the Agency’s website include Sergei Georgievskii, Co-founder and Chair of the Expert Council, and an ALAROS Council member; and Olga Gritsan, Head of the Analytical Department and a member of the Urban Planning Solutions, Concepts and Methodologies jury committee.
