The concept of beautification of the large embankment of the Volga River in the Moscow city of science - 'The embankment that unites the city' - received a bronze diploma of the X Russian National Landscape Award, which took place last week. The project was selected from several dozen applicants and was especially noted by the jury in the nomination 'The best unrealized project of public space with an area of more than 1 ha'. The concept was developed by the Agency for Strategic Development CENTER  in partnership with the architectural studio 'Khan and K', which suggested creating a unique recreational territory along the entire Volga coast.

The 8-kilometer embankment will unite the disparate areas of the city into a single whole and unite the people of Dubna. For residents of the city of science, this is a historical territory, to which improvement they relate with special trepidation. The award of the Association of Landscape Architects of Russia turned to be the confirmation that the important and necessary project for the citizens was prepared at a high professional level.
