MITINO LANDSCAPE PARK IS A LARGE-SCALE NATURAL COMPLEX WITHIN THE MOSCOW LIMITS

It has the total area of 126 ha.

Along the watershed — between the tributaries to the Moscow River, the Baryshikha River, and the Vskhodnya River — the Big Volotskaya road was running from Bolgar (the capital of the Bolgar kingdom)

THE PARK TERRITORY HAS OVER 5000 TREES AND 3500 VARIOUS BUSHES

The park is habitat for many bird species: quack, roody shelduck, tree sparrow, wood warbler, nightingale, greenfinch, great tit, hooded crow, fieldfare, bullfinch, waxbird, black-headed gull

Competition objective

To select the best concept for the development of the Mitino Landscape Park, which will define the park development strategy for the next 15 years, enabling sustainable development of the park and meeting the demands of the district communities, environmental and cultural significance of the park territory, while also enabling to effectively use the recreation potential of the territory.
