The All-Russian competition for the development of concepts for the architectural appearance of public spaces and educational institutions in the Republic of Dagestan is held in 2 nominations: public spaces in four cities of the republic: Makhachkala, Buinaksk, Derbent and Kaspiysk, and typical educational institutions - a school and a kindergarten. The competition was initiated by the Committee for Architecture and Urban Planning of the Republic of Dagestan with the support of the Government of the Republic of Dagestan, the Administration of the city of Makhachkala, the Administration of the Urban District "City of Buinaksk", the Administration of the Urban District "City of Derbent" and the Administration of the Urban District "City of Kaspiysk". The organizer of the competition is the Agency for Strategic Development "CENTER". The competition is held at once for six objects in four cities of the Republic: Makhachkala, Buinaksk, Derbent and Kaspiysk.

Nominations and competitive objects.

Nominations "Public spaces" and "Educational institutions".

In the category "Public Spaces" the objects of the competition are:

• Lunny Coast embankment in Makhachkala;
• Lenin Square in Kaspiysk;
• Lake on the street Khandadash Tagiyev in Derbent;
• Territories of the City Garden in Buinaksk.

The nomination "Educational Institutions" includes 2 standard projects, which can later be replicated throughout the republic:

• Typical project of a comprehensive school for 50 students in the village. Manasaul, Buinaksk region;
• Typical project of a kindergarten for 40 children in the village. Zergimakhi Akushinsky district.

Objective. To bring the improvement of public spaces of the republic to a qualitatively new level and offer architectural projects of educational institutions adapted to climatic conditions and other features of the region.

Format. Open, two-stage, all-Russian, online

Participants. Professional organizations in the field of architecture and design, capable of attracting designers, engineers, planners, specialists in the field of content programming to the team, operating in Russia and abroad.

Jury. The jury includes representatives of state authorities of the Republic of Dagestan, experts in the field of integrated development of territories, architecture, economics and spatial planning, as well as representatives of the competition organizer, will have to name three finalists who will begin to create the most effective and thoughtful concepts of the appearance of the competition objects.

Winners. The jury will determine 6 winners of the competition who will become partners of the Republic of Dagestan in implementing the solutions they have proposed and will continue to work on their projects after the completion of the competition.

Prize fund. The total size of the prize fund of the competition is 3,600,000 rubles.

Nomination "Public spaces":

• Winner - 400,000 rubles, including all taxes and fees;

• Second place - 150,000 rubles, including all taxes and fees;

• Third place - finalist diploma and gratitude from the Chief Architect of the Republic of Dagestan and the Committee for Architecture and Urban Planning of the Republic of Dagestan.

Nomination "Educational institutions":

• Winner - RUB 500,000, including all taxes and fees;

• Second place - 200,000 rubles, including all taxes and fees;

• Third place - finalist diploma and gratitude from the Chief Architect of the Republic of Dagestan and the Committee for Architecture and Urban Planning of the Republic of Dagestan.
