Countryside settlement Okhotino is located in the Pereslavl District in the southern part of the Yaroslavl Region.

In 1897, Painter Konstantin Korovin purchased the lands in this area. Soon he built the house here, in which his workshop was located. For over 20 years, the life and work of Konstantin Korovin were linked to this venue.

In Okhotino, Korovin painted some of his most famous works: "Evening on a Terrace (Okhotino)" (1915), "Near Mill in Okhotino" (1917), "Okhotino" (1917), "Landscape: Okhotino" (1922) and many others.
