Open competition for the logo design and corporate style for KAZAN EXPO
Objective
To develop the logo design and key components of the corporate style for the international exhibition center KAZAN EXPO, enabling the creation of an integrated approach to using graphic elements across all advertising and marketing communications of the site.
THE NEW CORPORATE STYLE NEEDS TO REFLECT THE SIGNIFICANCE OF THE PROJECT AND CREATE A MODERN IMAGE FOR THE REPUBLIC OF TATARSTAN ON AN INTERNATIONAL SCALE.

Winner's concept
The project seeks to utilize composite methods in order to reconsider the traditional Tatar ornaments, simplifying them and showing how they can be used in the modern context
The floral motifs on traditional ornaments symbolize Tatar culture, and they form the core of the concept. However, they have been reinterpreted by the authors due to relevant compositional techniques and have been incorporated into the modern context.
