The study prepared for the I International Forum "Living Envinroment: the new standards."

Goal

Analytical study of world practice and standard public housing.

Our objective is to show the best practices for affordable housing and housing that is built on the municipal money to show the possibilities and find the best methods to implement on Russian market.

Stages of research

• studied housing policy and regulatory frameworks in different countries, made sample of countries with the most advanced construction technologies in the study area;
• selected 8 projects in these countries, which were presented at the main exhibition forum.

Parameters of project selection

• especially the planning structure,
• total and living area,
• design living space per person,
• the degree of infrastructure development of adjacent territories, social attractiveness.
